Note: This post has nothing to do with me being distracted today or anything. Or maybe it does.
We always have things that we know we need to get done. We need to write, or work, or get groceries, make dinner – all kinds of things that demand time, time, and even more time! But there are also things that we enjoy – things that always manage to distract us. A favorite game, movie, or book, perhaps?
Admittedly, I got an early birthday present today, namely Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance for my Nintendo 3DS. So I’ve kind of been… away from my laptop today, you could say. Games are things that always manage to distract me – especially games in series I absolutely adore. And I happen to love the Kingdom Hearts series.
So, what always distracts you, no matter how hard you try to focus on things that need to get done? Let me know in the comments!

Kingdom Hearts can definitely be a distraction (I got that one from a friend for his birthday not too long ago, actually. Haven’t tried it myself, though).
Ancillary activities are usually the biggest distraction for me. Like research – I’ll go to look up some specific detail, and then get lost in a link chain reading up on more stuff I don’t need to worry about at the moment!

Er, for, not from.

That’s for sure. It’s a great game so far; I’m really enjoying it.
I know that problem! Something that should just take a minute can turn into hours of research of things you’ll never use anyways.

Exactly!

Totally a worthy distraction though, as it’s probably the third best KH game, the first being, well, the first two, haha. So yeah, distractions can be fun, especially if you have the spare time and have done everything you know you need to do.

True, true. I’m taking a break now for an hour or two (fun game is fun). It seems that when I start playing again, I’ll need to go to Traverse Town a second time.
Yeah, exactly! Plus, Kingdom Hearts is just a lot of fun. It’s worth it!
