Publication: Luna Station Quarterly! + Rewrites

Just a short post today to let you know that tomorrow, December 1st, I will have a drabble (a 100-word story) published in Luna Station Quarterly‘s yearly drabble edition! I don’t want to spoil anything by posting a snippet of it, since it’s just 100 words, so I’ll share the title and let you anticipate.

The Hunt.

What kind of hunt? You’ll get to find out tomorrow!

Sadly, the rewrite means more emotional trauma for me... and my friend Kaya.

Sadly, the rewrite means more emotional trauma for me… and my friend Kaya.

On a different note, come tomorrow, I’ll start completely rewriting Tales of The Forbidden.

I’ve come to realize that I’m not happy with it. Since I recently discovered my niche truly is dark fantasy, this high/paranormal fantasy novel isn’t cutting it. It needs work. Today, I wrote a synopsis for it. Tomorrow, the rewrite begins.

Goal? Finish it by February 28th, edit, send it to beta readers by March 31st, then edit once more once I receive their comments.

Final goal? Start sending out query letters by June 1st.

I’m excited to be working on it again. I love the synopsis, I love the new ideas, the ways that I’ll make it darker and better. I can’t wait to see the final product. With all this excitement, I might end up ahead of schedule. We’ll see.

Have a great weekend, everyone! What will you be doing to start off December? Let me know in the comments!

I'm a writer, a reader, a gamer and a dreamer. I love losing myself to thought and considering possibilities. That is how I create my stories and weave the erratic tales into readable ones.

  1. Good luck with the rewrite! I hope you get all the queries and agents and publishing contracts. 😀

Let me know what you think!
