One of the common problems in life, especially when it comes to artists, is time.
There’s never time to write, because of other things: Work, college, family, and anything else that eats up time. While those do make it harder to write, there’s always room to squeeze in a bit of writing. A few sentences, a couple hundred words; anything to keep the creative juices flowing.
It sounds simple and sometimes it is, but there are times when life throws so much at you at once that writing comes to a halt for a few days, a week, maybe even two.
This week is that kind of week for me; just a mixture of things piling on at once cut off all contact to my novel and other writings. That aside, life should settle down this weekend, so I’m hoping to get more written, and throughout the week, as well. Hopefully that schedule will continue and once it’s time for me to go to France for a month, I’ll see how forgiving my schedule is when it comes to writing.
If all goes well, I’ll rework things so I get things I need to do spread out and sorted in such a way that they’ll give me the chance to write. It’s the least I can do; I hate being so busy that writing is not an option, unless I cut into my sleeping schedule – a schedule which is rarely regular, as is.
I just need to get this stuff out-of-the-way and focus on getting words on paper.

Good luck with everything! Finding time can be hard — really hard. You’ve heard me complain and moan about my lack of productivity, but I’m confident you can do it. You are, after all, way awesome when it comes to being productive. =)

The upside to life throwing all sorts of stuff in your way is that all that stuff can someday be part of a novel! I hope you get in plenty of writing time this weekend. And… a trip to France, for a month no less!, that sounds wonderful!

That’s true, but it’s annoying when you don’t have the time to actually write about those things. Thank you!
It’s not really a trip; it’s a work experience for my college course. A month of working full-time in France.
